This was the scene at the dog park as we were leaving. Four of 'em.

The damndest thing

So I found this neighborhood the other day and brought Ben back to see it this morning. Each house is beautiful and well-built, not too big. The problem? Every house is prarie style, and it ends up being way too much. You enter the neighborhood on Frank Lloyd Wright Avenue. The intersection below is John Muir Steet and Aldo Leopold Way. Yuck.

maybe a conductor?

It's hard to know what a baby will grow up to be, but Graham is starting to show signs of talent as a conductor.

fun in the sun

We've become a family of porch-sitters lately. Miles loves to draw on the steps with his chalk, and we all love sitting outside in the beautiful spring weather. We're even getting to know our neighbors better.

fabulous Duplos

Miles got a set of Duplos for Christmas, and is getting more and more creative with them. This is one of his latest masterpieces, made without any help from parents. What you can't see is that the base for this one, like all the others he builds, is a set of wheels. Ben's so proud of his car-building boy.
