So, maybe some mothers wouldn't think that the dog's water dish and a rock are the best toys for a ten month old. But, my genius was having too much fun making noise and putting the rock in the bowl and dumping it out. There's fun everywhere!

Mac overturned the paper recycling bin and had fun with the paper. You can also see why it's so hard to get a picture of the baby without the dog in the photo somewhere.

Macalester Reunion

Miles and I had a really fun long weekend in St. Paul and Minneapolis at my 11 year college reunion. (I couldn't make last year, and had lots of friends a year younger.) These were several of my closest college friends.

Pool party!

Dania stayed in a hotel with a pool and a hot tub. We all played there on Saturday afternoon. Miles had a blast with the water and the pretty ladies.

Ben bought these for me just before he left for Nevada. They're blooming beautifully.

My thought was that a Cheerios box would be a good thing for Miles to play with for 30 seconds while I went into the kitchen. He thought so, too. Yummy.

Off to Nevada

Papa's in Hawthorn, Nevada for the next couple of weeks. When he wears that pack, his center of gravity is about two feet behind him.

We got Giles as an attempt to give Miles something to attach to. Sometimes it works (like here), sometimes not.
