Here's a picture Lauren took today of Aida talking on her NEW cell phone. Mom said, "Oh my god, she looks 14." I said, "Oh my god, she's so beautiful."

Welcome, Maisie!

Margaret (Maisie) Susan Schaer was born today at 8:30 am New York time. She's a little peanut, but it sounds like everybody is doing well. Miles is looking forward to meeting his newest cousin!

A late winter walk

We took a beautiful walk down to the prairie this afternoon. It's definitely still winter, but it was sunny and nearly 50 degrees. Don't get too jealous -- it may sleet tomorrow!
