Not long now

Twelve days and counting. Miles still doesn't know what's about to hit him.

Papa can't just let a sleeping Miles lie. He wants snuggling for as long as possible.

Funny time to be posting these. . .

So, right now it's well over forty degrees, and all the snow is melting. Ben took these a couple of months ago during the biggest snowstorm of the winter.

Best dog ever

As Mac gets older, he gets more interested in Lyle. Lyle is still showing himself to be as patient, gentle, and kind to Mac as we could possibly as for. We don't love Miles rolling around on the dog bed (he comes up with just about as much hair as a real dog), but Lyle thinks it's pretty fun. He isn't crazy about the cat trying to share his space, though.

Another thing Miles loves to do lately is draw. He has his own notebook to draw in, and he's got some beautiful pictures in there.

Miles got Duplos for Christmas, and they have fast become one of his favorite things to play with. Ben can't wait until he wants to start building airplanes.

We were lucky enough to have someone give us a gliding rocking chair for when Baby B comes. So far, Miles likes it better than any of us.

These were taken about a month ago. They show one of Miles' favorite activities -- climbing up on the coffee table and jumping. He's always sure there's someone there to catch him, even if there isn't.

No wonder I'm feeling off-balance lately. I don't think there's any more room in there, so I guess it's time for the baby to come :)
